Smooth Operators have been trading since 2006 forming from the merger of two already well established companies F J Flyers and Robert Papworth Couriers and have collectively over 18 years experience in the removal and light haulage industries.
The Company proprietors are Robert Papworth and Franco Piergianni who will, in most cases act as the removal co-ordinator and be present during the actual move.
During 2007 and 2008 Smooth Operators as well as carrying out many household removals tendered for and successfully won a number of commercial contracts including Peterborough City Council and Express By Holiday Inn franchises.
2008 also saw (in what we believe to be a first in the industry) the opening of a shop at 40 Market Street, Whittlesey, PE7 1XD where customers can not only come in and discuss face to face their removal requirements but also purchase all their removal essentials such as boxes, bubble wrap and tape. Not only that, the shop also sells a large selection of Yankee Candles. Just the thing for adding that final touch to a new home or making an ideal house warming gift.
Smooth Operators is in the most a family run business. The proprietors are life long friends and employ their family in both the shop and as removal porters.
All members of staff are highly trained, motivated and polite and all adopt the company ethos that the customer comes first.
